Finally rounding out all the outfits I rocked in Costa Rica!
This look was easily the favorite judging from all the feedback on Instagram as well as all the stares I got sashaying down the resort’s makeshift runway, lol.
Styling Tips
I’ve been obsessed with buttons on everything this season and found this super cute maxi from Shein while shopping for my resort wear. Nothing makes me feel more glamorous than a feminine frock and super cinched waist. Since I’m so petite, I always buy my belts vintage from thrift stores, flea markets, and eBay. Women back then were TINY or at least they made it seem that way with corsets. Although you can’t purchase my exact gold buckled belt, I did find some cool substitutes linked below.
How to Accessorize
Don’t be afraid to mix metals to amp up your outfit babes! I love a good gold and silver mix especially against bronzed tan skin. The combination feels very fresh and helps to alleviate looking too cold with all silver or too ghetto with all gold. If you’re still unsure of how to mix the two, try looking for jewelry pieces with the metals mixed in. They’re everywhere this season and takes the guesswork out of trying to decide which metal works best for the ensemble.
