As you all know I’ve spent the last 4 months renovating all 1900+sf of my Mom’s old dilapidated 60’s style ranch house into the contemporary stunna you’ll be seeing on the blog for the rest of the month.
Labor of Love
If any of you have attempted ANY type of home renovation, from weekend projects to whole house overhauls, you’ll know that makeovers are NOT for the faint of heart. Amidst the endless checklists, inevitable construction delays, and the constant chaos and turmoil bestowed on everyone involved, renovations are TRULY a labor of love hunnies. And SERIOUSLY should be left up to the professionals if you ask me! {Insert JKID plug here ;D}
Having my hand in every single aspect of this undertaking involved schlepping from one side of town to the next sourcing then delivering materials, spending all my weekdays overseeing construction, not to mention the countless nights and weekends spent on the internet doing the research, all the while maintaining my growing design business in the interim. Phew!!! We’re almost 80% done-dizzo and I’m relieved to share the reason WHY I do this all in the first place.
It’s to FINALLY come home to a space that looks like this:

Oh yeaaaaaaaaah my ‘lil LOVEPAD’s all suped up and ready for some action! And perfecto timing too since le bf’s birthday is tomorrow!!! Happy early birthday to my partner-in-crime, my carpenter/handyman/day-laborer du jour LBeezy Fosheezy! Love you my darling baby-boo, hope you lalalalalLOVE our new studio as much as I do!

OMG lol I'm seriously such a perv because I was thinking If I comment how sexual the vibe in this room appears shes totally going to think I'm such a freak but then I scrolled down and was like >_< LMAO!
