Winter truly is my favorite season even though I was born right smack dab in the middle of summer.
I’m happiest when I’m able to conceptualize a look from tip-to-toe with TONS of layers, accessories, and a mix of playful patterns. What better time than at a winter wedding with all my faves?!…Celebrating life, love, and the pursuit of happiness hunnies!
Vintage Finds
I’m the girl who’d much rather buy vintage and thrift my looks than spend an entire day online or shopping the mall. It’s the thrill of the chase and gratification of the find that keeps me truly satiated. One-of-a-kind pieces like this painted watercolor midi-skirt are a dime piece and not something you see every day. I was completely mesmerized by the abstract art strokes of the pattern and knew I had to have her in my life! And of course the $5 price tag really renders her priceless in the long run.
Styling Tips
Paired the look with a slip cami from Trouvé (Nordstrom’s), a chain link wool jacket from Forever 21, my BCBG python print ankle booties that I scored at their annual sample sale, and this superFAB ruffled Italian leather handbag from Marshall’s et voilà!…Fun, festive daywear appropriate for the church portion of a winter wedding.
